Hours: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (Mon-Fri)

 

GENERAL SUMMARY

Performs the following types of duties: schedules, manages and conducts all the necessary product testing for the Australia market to assure all regulations are met; Interacts with other departments including purchasing, manufacturing and planning to assure raw materials meet specifications; scheduling of Australia products for testing and release ; resolve issues relating to production and regulations and release of products for shipments; Prepares for and participates in all TGA audits; prepares site master file as required by TGA; Testing is conducted per HPLC, HPTLC, FTIR, BP or USP, GC; Acts as Authorized person for release of products for Au; Stays current on TGA and PICS regulations.  

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

 

 

Knowledge of analytical methods which include HPTLC, HPLC, GC FTIR , BP and USP methods. Knowledgeable of the role of other departments in planning , manufacturing and shipping Australia products. Expert Knowledge of TGA and PICS regulations including validations, testing, and gmp requirements. Knowledgeable in Oracle system related to all QA/QC functions.  

Skills:   Must be skilled in written and verbal communications with thorough follow-up being a must.

Must be able to foster trust and confidence in coworkers. Able to work well as a team member and have a good sense of timeliness. Must be able to interact well with government agencies, including TGA.

Ability to schedule and meet deadlines, train personnel on SOPs, methods and AU regulations. Effectively transfer methods to Q.C. Ability to work well under stress and tight work schedules. Able to prioritize work. Ability to work well with others on CI projects.

 

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

BS in a scientific area of importance to the company and five years' experience in a laboratory environment and 5 years' experience in TGA and PICS regulations.
